Three tips for Mueller homeowners
1. Descale the tankless heater every year
Austin water is hard enough that scale cuts flow and trips error codes within two or three years. An annual flush keeps the unit at full output and out of warranty arguments.
2. Clean the alley-run dryer duct
Garage-adjacent laundry rooms in Mueller often push lint through a long horizontal run. If drying takes two cycles, the duct is the reason, and it is also a fire risk.
3. Check the small-yard drains before storm season
